The entrance is very well maintained. We came in at 11:00 at night. The staff that was working at the front was very funny and welcoming even though he night wasn't of to a great start. The room was very clean and very nice. The only issue we had had on first night was the fire alarm going off but that wasn't the company's fault. It was some idiot drunk that had been staying here for business related stuff everyone that was down in the waiting area. Waiting for fire department to come while waiting everyone seen him walking around stumbling and laughing and admitting he did it. Somehow he had flooded his room into the workout room below.
The staff are amazing and the room was absolute perfection. I am well rested and I got to take advantage of the (free of charge) laundry access. I would definitely stay here again.
Great spot to stay. Check in was easy, and very professional as well. Indoor heated pool. Gym available. Complimentary laundry machines for you to use. Room was comfortable and very clean. Restroom was as well. A bit of wear n tear, minimal, but still very nice. All kinds of food and shopping within 10 minutes or less. Small snack store just inside the Lobby as well.
Hotel smelled and looked worn. They do have washer and dryers available for guest to use for free, just bring your laundry soap. Back patio area needed cleaned up. Back door would not work with key card, we were told the lock has been broken for awhile which makes it an inconvenience for guests to come and go. The room was ok. The bed was not very comfortable. There is no breakfast available however this hotel is located close to many restaurants and stores. The staff, mainly Devion, was very friendly and helpful!
Upon arrival our 2 bed room was no longer reserved for us. But the receptionist was able to make it right and give us 2 rooms for the same price. The rooms were clean and the receptionists were exceptional with dealing with the situation.
Before I point out the only flaw that I noticed while I was there.I wanna say that it was free to use.And that was the washer, the dryer done Great, but the staff was all as nice as they could be & helpful as They could be ....... I'm a little late getting this post out. I promised them 2 weeks ago when we moved out that I would get it out there for them. If i was coming up to louisville, on my own dollar i would damn sure pick them to stay
I stayed in the Candlewood Suites from the 5th-8th, and all i Can say about my Stay/experience is it was absolutely Amazing, from the Moment I Arrived in was Greeted by the most beautiful smile of the young lady who worked behind the counter (Chrystal) and Mr. Donovan who both individuals went above and behind as they provided great customer service to, for me, and because of that, that's the reason I'm gonna stay there when I come in town moving forward. Very nice sized rooms with everything we needed. All the staff we met were very friendly. Price was good, too. The only improvement that could be made would be better housekeeping both in the rooms and in the public areas. Definitely recommend.
